Shahab

The Shotokan Karate Institute of New Zealand is a traditional Shotokan Karate club led by internationally recognised instructor Shihan Shahab, 8th Dan Black Belt certified by the Karatenomichi World Federation and over 35 years experience.

Shotokan Karate Institute of New Zealand provides beginner as well as advanced level karate classes. There are NO joining fees and the first two lessons are free for children (under 16 years old).

Children's class: 6:15 - 7:15pm
Adult's class: 7:15 - 8:30pm

(Parents are welcome to train with their children in our Children's class)

Tuesday and Thursday

Beginner and Yellow belt class: 6:15 - 7:15pm

There is parking available by entering the school campus at the end of Poronui Street. 

Fees

Children (6-15yrs): $65 per month
Adults: $75 per month
Adults casual: $15 per class

Family discounts

2 Children: $120 per month
3 Children: $175 per month 
1 Adult, 1 Child: $130 per month 
1 Adult, 2 Children: $185 per month 
1 Adult, 3 Children: $240 per month

CLASS FEES DUE FEBRUARY TO DECEMBER INCLUSIVE.

Shotokan Institute of Karate is affiliated to the Karatenomichi World Federation (KWF). As such, each student is registered with the KWF which has an initial fee of $40 for the first year then an annual membership fee of $30 for subsequent years (due annually in January).
